Swansong in Red

My first recollection of the label “Lanvin,” was my mother’s bottle of Arpege perfume that she kept on her vanity. It was a sweet and spicy fragrance that she would spray on daily. The aroma wafted through the air and settled in my senses so that I always associated it with her.

See by Chloe Skirt, Mantu Blouse, Vintage Belt, Fendi Sandals, Maison Margiela Hangbag, John Hardy Hoops, Chanel Bracelet.

Sign on the Dotted A-Line

Who doesn’t love an a-line skirt? It is easy to wear, flattering, and comfortable. This denim one is from See by Chloe, which is a drop down the line of its parent company: Chloe.

Cabi Romper, Vince Sandals, Chanel Bracelet, Proenza Schouler Handbag, Gucci Scarf, John Hardy Earrings.

Romper Room

Do you remember the children’s TV show, Romper Room? If so, then you are probably somewhere between ages forty-five to sixty, which also means that you may question why a middle-aged person like me would even attempt to wear a romper?

Scoop NYC Top, McGuire Jeans, Jimmy Choo Pumps, Hermes Belt, Prada Bag, Chanel Bracelet, The Jewelry Bar Bracelets and Earrings.

The Blue and the White

I suppose that you could call me patriotic. I was born and raised a Canadian Jew, lived in Israel for a year, and became a U.S. citizen in 2001. So even though I am a lover of the red and the white (Canada) and the red, white, and blue (America), my heart belongs to the blue and the white (Israel).

Top, Scarf, Skirt, and Clutch: Worth New York. Prada Pumps, Celine Glasses, Christian Dior Tribal Earrings.

Orange Is the New Black

Never shy away from color, especially now, when loud pops of color are apearing all over the fashion runways. For me, orange is a natural mood changer. It has always suited my skin’s natural yellow undertones.

Balenciaga Sweater, The Row Leather Legging, Manolo Blahnik Shoes, Gucci Handbag, Diane Cotton Lariat, John Hardy Earrings, Oliver Peoples Glasses.

Ebony and Ivory

Like the song says, “Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony.” What is not to love about this perfect duo? Opposites attract and yet compliment each other perfectly.

Worth New York Skirt, Lareida Blouse, Ferragamo Scarf, Nicholas Kirkwood Pumps, Balenciaga Handbag, Think Closet Choker.

C’est Si Bon!

This outfit seems to call out in French, so I gave it a French title. The ladylike skirt, white blouse, and scarf seem to give this outfit a certain je ne sais quoi.
