This version of Strawberry Bark is fantastic because of the mild taste of cashew butter. There are only 4 ingredients and it’s impossible to mess it up. I served it for dessert alongside some fresh fruit and it was devoured within minutes! Alternatively, you can store it in the freezer and eat as a snack. Watch the reels HERE,
or the longer You Tube version HERE.
Ingredients
- 1 pint strawberries, washed and sliced
- 2 cups cashew butter (at room temperature)
- 2 16 ounce dark chocolate bars or 1 cup dark chocolate chips melted
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Directions:
Remove the tops of the strawberries and slice lengthwise.
Lay them in rows close together on a parchment lined cutting board or cooke sheet that will fit in your freezer.
Spread a good amount of cashew butter (enough to cover) the strawberries.
Melt the dark chocolate in either a double boiler or the microvave and spreas atop the cashew butter.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Freeze for at least 4 hours., or overnight.
Break into pieces and serve, or keep in an airtight container and snack at will!
OMG, this is going to have to be a staple in our family. Rob is the hugest fan of strawberries, and we just bought some cashew butter.
Thanks for all that you do Lesley, and your email was powerful,
