Here’s a recipe for baked apple slices that is sure to be a hit in your parts! Made with just almond butter, cinnamon and mapole syrup, these are so healthy and satisfying, you will be glad that you made them.
Ingredients:
- 2 apples cored and sliced into rounds
- 1/4 cup almond butter stirred well
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- water to thin as needed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Slice the cored apples into 1/8 thick slices
To make the topping:
In a shallow bowl, mix the almond butter with the maple syrup and cinnamon.
Add tiny amount of water as needed for mixture to be spreadbale.
Dip one side into topping and then flip over and dip the ther side.Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Continue with remainder of sloce.
Place the apple slices into the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes. Remove, let cool for a few minutes and serve.
Store in air tight container in refrigerator.
