If you own a pantsuit, and I know that there is at least one in your closet, please break that duo up! You will breathe new life into your clothes, and get a lot more bang for your buck! Here is how I accomplished this with a fabulous geometric print pantsuit by Dorothee Schumacher. I bought this in late summer at Girl Candy Shop in Winnipeg, and it was from the Dorothee Schumacher fall/winter 2022 collection. As you can see from this photo below, I initially paired it with a hot pink blouse by A.L.C and Zara sparkle mules, for the holiday season.
To turn this into a more casual look, I took the pants and paired them with a white cropped shacket (shirt jacket) by Anine Bing. I could have also worn a white tee shirt or blouse. I continued with the white accents by adding white booties. I own several pairs of white boots. I find them to be incredibly fresh and extremely useful. If you don’t own a pair, check out the ones in the Shop The Post carousel below.
Adding the white top and footwear extends the seasonal life of the pants. please don’t think that a winter pantsuit has to only be worn in winter. If the fabric allows for spring or early summer wear, go for it!
