This tried and true recipe is a family favorite, especially on Super Bowl Sunday! I like to cook my wings in the air fryer. However, if you don’t have an air fryer, and I highly recommend this one, feel free to bake them in the oven at 350° F for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through. You can always bake them in the oven, at 350°F!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound chicken wings
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch optional, to thicken the sauce
Directions:
Place the chicken wings in the air fryer for 12 minutes at 400°F
Flip them and cook for another 12 minutes.
Prepare the sauce in a saucepan, adding the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar and honey.
and stir until heated through.
Add the cornstarch, turn the heat to low, and stir constantly to thicken.
When the chicken wings are done, add them to the sauce and coat all sides.
Return to airfryer for 5 minutes at 375°F
