This pesto version of classic hummus is next level! It is so easy to make, you will be doing on repeat! Alternately you can use as a pasta sauce or spread it on bread and make a veggie sandwich. Whatever your choice, I know that you will agree that this one’s a winner!
Ingredients:
- 1 14 oz can of chickpeas
- ⅓ cup of pine nuts
- 1½ cup basil
- juice of 1.5 lemons
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp cold water
- ¼ cup of nutritional yeast
- ½ tsp of salt
- 2 ice cubes
Directions:
- Gather your ingredients and a high speed blender or food processor.
- Add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until completely smooth.
- Add more salt as needed to taste.
