Last week, when I wrote about attending the premiere of “A Star Is Born,” many of you emailed me to see more photos of the dress I wore. I decided to honor your wishes and feature this beautiful McQueen dress and how I decided to accessorize it. Undoubtedly, the star of this show is the dress, with its unusual design and dramatic side tail. If you look at the dress from one side, it appears short, yet when viewed for the other side, it appears long. I was drawn to the brilliance of this unique design. Truth be told, I purchased the dress about nine months ago when it went on sale and could not find the right event at which to wear it. However, when Jeff received the invite to the premiere, I knew that this dress would finally see the light of day and be the perfect choice for this fancy evening. I have owned these sparkly heels by Christian Dior for several years. They are well broken in and surprisingly comfortable given their high heel. I am in love with my new Dior clutch, which I am proud to say cost me nothing since I saved all my Bloomies gift cards in order to get it for free! And speaking of gift cards, my Chanel cuff was also obtained through gift cards. Yet as Jeff will tell you, nothing is free…why oh why does he have to spoil all the fun?!
Lesley you look absolutely gorgeous. I am wishing you success in your new venture and hopefully while I’m in Palm Springs this winter maybe Your mom will arrange something As she has in the past so we can get to watch you in action. Wish you all the best for the new year and good luck with everything. XOXO
Count on it!!
You always know how to stand out in a crowd…even in black!! What a gorgeous dress on you!
XOXO
