I have always considered my style to be classic with an edge; I leave the boho chic/hippie look to my daughter, Serena, who rocks that style like no one else I know. I will admit that the purchasing of this skirt was an impulsive one, but I was so attracted to its pattern and design that I took the plunge and bought it, not considering what would be worn on top. I tried many different tops, sweaters, and blouses, but nothing worked. I realized that the perfect complement to this body-hugging silk skirt was a loose-fitting flowy top. I remembered that I had this cozy sweater and it seemed like the perfect fit. Adding platform sandals, a velvet choker, and shoulder-grazing earrings are in keeping with the hippie theme I was trying to achieve. When my sister and I stumbled upon this fantastic wall in Palm Springs, the entire outfit came alive, and with it, my inner Flower Child!
This SO suits you!! I adore this ensemble, and would wear it with or without flowers in my hair (-;
I know you would rock this look, my flowered friend!
Ahhhhh…it’s a skirt! I totally thought it was a pair of pants on Instagram, but I am absolutely in love with it either way!!!
You are evolving over time….aren’t we all??

Yes we are all evolving over time…and thank goodness for that!
