I love revisiting old style trends from decades past. This outfit covers trends from the 1970s-1990s. These denim jeans by Marc Jacobs represent the seventh decade complete with the ironed crease. Their high rise is reminiscent of the 1980s but it has been updated with the outside button fly details. I always like to feature the waist of a high rise pant and the cropped top, with its 1990’s feel, does that perfectly. Little black booties that are tight to the ankle are my go-to for every pant, whether it is flared or skinny at the bottom, since the ankle hugging bootie works every time. Large silver hoops have been in vogue for countless decades, and these by John Hardy have been my favorite choice for years. This Gucci backpack is so cute and chic and its small size suits my short stature perfectly. I use it constantly, especially when wearing all black or white and denim. It is the perfect pop of accessory and goes with almost everything. It is also extremely lightweight and the straps are incredibly comfortable.
I love how the tour through the decades looks amazing on you, Lesley!!
