Oscar Party Ready

Sometimes, it’s good to have unique pieces in your closet because you never know when they might be called upon to make an appearance. Such is the case with this particular outfit that I styled at the drop of a hat. Dressing up for a fancy event is my idea of fun; I love to take a fabulous dress, add the perfect accessories, and transform it from plain to fancy or vice versa.

There is certainly nothing plain about this dress by Sandro. In keeping with its beautiful pearl detailing, I added my pearl tribal earrings and the pearl Chanel heels, as they lend the right amount of elegance. Despite the short length of the dress, the flounce of the top and bottom appealed to me. I scored both the jacket and the shoes on sale and hadn’t worn either of them until now. If I were invited to an Oscar party, this is the dress I would be wearing!
